1. Business Name, Contact, and Legal Trading Status

The Studio operates as a sole trader based in London, UK, and complies with UK regulations and standards applicable to interior design businesses.

2. Licenses and Third-Party Contractors
The Studio adheres to industry standards and applicable legal requirements. Relevant certifications or licenses can be disclosed upon request.
When engaging third-party contractors, their terms and conditions will apply in addition to these Terms & Conditions. The Studio acts solely as a facilitator and assumes no liability for services or products provided by third parties.

3. Business Hours
Business hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Inquiries received outside business hours will be addressed on the next working day unless prior arrangements have been made.

4. Rate Structure, Packages, and Payment Terms

Hourly Rates:

• Essential Design Package: £75/hour for additional services outside the agreed package scope.

• Elevate Design Package: £85/hour for mid-tier custom design and detailed consultations.

• Signature Design Package: £111/hour for bespoke, high-value design services requiring comprehensive project management and advanced customization.

Packages:

• Essential Design Package: Includes basic design deliverables such as virtual consultations, mood boards, and material suggestions. Standard package rate: £1,500 for up to 20 hours. Additional services are charged at £75/hour.
  Example: A client requiring 25 hours would pay £1,500 + (£75 × 5 hours) = £1,875.

• Elevate Design Package: Offers enhanced design services with on-site consultations, detailed space planning, and mid-tier customization. Standard package rate: £2,550 for up to 30 hours. Additional services are charged at £85/hour.
  Example: A client requiring 35 hours would pay £2,550 + (£85 × 5 hours) = £2,975.

• Signature Design Package: Comprehensive service for full-scale projects, including bespoke joinery, curated art pieces, and integration of smart technologies. Standard package rate: £4,440 for up to 40 hours. Additional services are charged at £111/hour.
  Example: A client requiring 45 hours would pay £4,440 + (£111 × 5 hours) = £5,000.

Payment Terms:

• A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure booking and commence services.

• For projects exceeding £5,000, a 50% deposit may apply, as agreed in advance.

• Remaining payments will be invoiced in instalments or upon completion of milestones as agreed.

• All invoices are payable within 14 days of issuance. Overdue payments may incur a 3% interest charge per month.

• Rates exclude VAT, travel expenses, or material costs unless otherwise stated.

5. Scope of Services

Included Services:

• Design consultations (virtual or on-site).

• Space planning and material recommendations.

• Project coordination and supplier engagement.

Excluded Services:

• Installation or physical works unless explicitly agreed in writing.

• Structural modifications or building works performed by contractors.

Changes to the agreed scope of services may incur additional charges, which will be communicated in advance for client approval.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Client Cancellation:

• Written notice is required for cancellation of services.

• Work completed up to the date of cancellation will be invoiced and payable in full.

• Deposits are non-refundable but may be applied to future projects at the Studio's discretion.

Studio Cancellation:

• The Studio reserves the right to terminate services due to non-payment, lack of client cooperation, or unforeseen circumstances. Any unused portions of prepaid fees will be refunded at the Studio's discretion.

7. Limitation of Liability

• The Studio’s liability is capped at the total value of fees paid by the client for the services provided.

• The Studio is not responsible for:

  • Delays, defects, or issues caused by third-party contractors or suppliers.

  • Costs associated with defective materials or client-provided products.

  • Indirect financial losses, including profit or income, arising from the project.

8. Intellectual Property

• All design materials, including sketches, plans, and digital files, remain the intellectual property of the Studio until full payment is received.

• Reproduction or redistribution of these materials without the Studio’s consent is prohibited.

9. Confidentiality

• Client information and project details will be treated with the strictest confidentiality and will not be shared with third parties without prior consent, except where required by law.

10. Governing Law

• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be resolved in accordance with these laws.

By engaging the Studio’s services, the client agrees to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
